In October of this year my husband and I will have been married for 30 years. To celebrate we have decided to plan thirty trips/activities throughout 2018. Some we may have done before and others will be visits to places we would like to see, but as yet haven't got around to visiting.
One of Thirty in Thirty
Our first trip in this series was to see the Butterflies in the Glasshouse at RHS Wisley. This is one we have done before, but always enjoy. I find butterflies to be so delightful and could spend ages watching them.
This time butterflies weren't the only creatures in the glasshouse, we saw a grass snake sunning itself.
Apparently they find they're own way in!
The gardens at Wisley are always lovely to wander through, admiring the plants and flowers.
The Alpine House is a favourite place to visit whilst here.
Time for a coffee with an orange and polenta cake, which was delicious!
Then it was time to head home. It was a stunning winter sunset!
