Local Wildlife

Sadly, it is raining hard today and all the beautiful frost has gone.  Although I prefer the cold to the wet, I'm sure that the birds don't.  When it was so cold they really appreciated the extra food we left out for them.
The House Sparrows,
 Blue Tits
and Coal Tits use the feeders.
While the Robins stay on the ground and pick up the food that drops from the feeders.
In the back garden the Blue Tits search for insects on the climbing roses
and a Nut Hatch has discovered the seed bell that Ellie of Jelly Jam sent to me.
The local Elephant isn't too sure about the cold weather either! ;)

Hmm, feeling very guilty as I have just remembered that we haven't refilled our bird feeders for a couple of weeks! Lovely photos. M x
