A Walk on Easter Sunday ...

... to walk off those Easter eggs! :)
Despite the sometimes grey sky, the rain held off and we went for a 3 hour walk.  This was the start of our "training", ready for our holiday in The Lake District later this year.
Wood Anemone
Our Son has always picked up sticks on our walks - as he has grown, so have the sticks! :)
My Husband liked this sign.

Greater Stitchwort
Sheep Whisperer!

Blackthorn Blossom
Gorgeous Farmhouse - I'd like to live out here.
We did a spot of Geocaching as we walked.  This one was a sneaky hide!

We walked over several Rickety Bridges.
WW2 Pillbox, one in a line of defence across the Hampshire countryside.
Wood Spurge
Primroses

West Green House
A Tudor Manor.  Those chimney stacks are on the lean!
We passed a garden with lots of Peacocks roaming around.

Back home for Hot Cross Buns and Simnel Cake.  Guess we need another walk!!

Ooh lovely I'm worn out just thinking about your huge walk!
We love a bit of geocaching too, the kids are really into it at the minute.

Thank you for all of your comments - it's so lovely to hear from you.
Sadly there haven't been anymore walks as it has rained everyday since! Roll on summer!

Joanne, I have just emailed my address to you.

Best wishes, Pj x
